You can see an outline of the game rules & how it works on the About page
- Despite what our politicians may think, money does not magically get created and distributed out of thin air. If someone wins, someone else loses.
- Some of the dangers of gambling are that people can get out of hand and not practice good governance (especially when a person wins). We try to tame these urges by only allowing low money brackets.
- Absolutely! Since we don't want people betting the farm, you can only enter at lower bracket levels -- unless you win! When you win (for instance, if you win a $5 bracket (you'll win $40), you can roll that over onto a $40 bracket. When you win the $40 bracket, you can cash out at $320! So your $5 turned into $320...!!
- Yes. When players join a random bracket, they are randomly placed on an existing bracket - the one with the least number of players.
BUT - if you invite your friends through the app and your friends respond to your invitation to join a bracket, then those friends are placed on the same brackets as you. So in that way, you can win more quickly.
- Not possible. Current board levels have been chosen with a goal of not feeding greed or irresponsibility.
- What MAY be possible in the future is higher level boards that you can automatically join.
- For instance, you might join a $1 board from which you can win $8. If there was an $8 board, you can choose to auto-enroll on the $8 board. In that way, you spend no more that $1, but can still win $64 instead of $8.
